I give God the glory nd honour for giving me this opportunity to see another year. Great thanks to my Mum,who is my source nd joy,not forgetting my progenitor ad mist all issues,my brother,cousins,aunts,my lovely Grand-Parents,friends and families.
I won’t have a fulfilled day without writing some lines of the way I feel towards nature nd humanity. Its so sad that a legislative arm of government wil sit and access the issue of child marriage in a country where we so much believe in our cultural background like the legislators have always said. I expected such issue to be thrown out without giving any consideration. Its unappealing that 35 men who re fathers and grand fathers are in support of such motion,then I fear for my little niece who is barely 1,cos our government creates insecurity of the mind for me that a man can boldly ask her hand in marriage in the next 10yrs without being scared of family sanctions.
If we abuse our children now and we the youth of this generation sit back and smile as these old men determine our future,then when our kids ask us Dad/Mum what did you do then?,what will be your reply?.
As I celebrate my birthday today let’s uphold child rights,and our fundamental human right,don’t let David Mark of over 60 years nd his senators who are mostly over 50 determine our future. We are the Youth of this Generation and the Leaders of the next,let’s deal with human feelings and nature considerations!
